Laboratory Training

All employees and students who use or may encounter hazardous chemicals, chemical products or generate hazardous (chemical) waste in the workplace must receive this training. This training covers potential hazards associated with chemical usage including recognizing signs and symptoms of overexposure and proper responses to spills, leaks or other exposures.

Annual training is required.

  • Lab chemical fume hoods
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Waste disposal
  • Emergencies
  • Lab inspection program
